Savarna community observes silent fast on Gandhi Jayanti in Greater Noida, submits memorandum to President

On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, the Savarna community in Greater Noida observed a silent fast demanding a UGC rollback. The protest, which began with the national anthem on Friday morning, continued until 1:00 PM. The protesters expressed their concerns peacefully and concluded the event by submitting a memorandum addressed to the President.

A unique protest was witnessed in Greater Noida on the auspicious occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary. Members of the Savarna community organized a silent fast to demand a UGC rollback. According to an NDTV India report, the event commenced around 10:00 AM on Friday with the national anthem.

The protesters remained seated peacefully at the designated location and attempted to convey their demands to the government. Through the silent fast, they expressed their dissent and concerns. During this time, there was no commotion, and the entire event was conducted in a disciplined manner.
