Tilak Varma is currently shouldering the responsibility of captaining South Zone in the Duleep Trophy. He impressed with both his leadership and batting during the semi-final match played against North Zone.

With this significant victory, the South Zone team has successfully managed to secure a spot in the tournament final. Tilak credited his success to his preparation and his approach towards the game.

Discussing his strengths, he explained how he adapts himself according to the conditions. He believes that patience and technique are of great importance in Test cricket.
