Tight Security Arrangements for BRICS Summit in Delhi: Four-Layer Perimeter for Putin and Jinping

Security arrangements in Delhi have been tightened significantly ahead of the BRICS summit. A four-layer security protocol has been implemented for the protection of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, involving Delhi Police and commandos.

Unprecedented security arrangements have been made in Delhi for the upcoming BRICS summit. Keeping in mind the security of global leaders participating in the summit, especially Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, the administration has further strengthened the security perimeter. According to officials, a four-layer security protocol has been prepared for these prominent leaders.

Under the security arrangements, a robust security cordon has been established around the Maurya Hotel, where Russian President Vladimir Putin will be staying. This security ring will include his personal security team along with Delhi Police personnel, special commandos, and paramilitary forces. It is being ensured that the hotel premises remain completely secure and there is no possibility of any security lapse.

Not only the hotel, but the entire route from the airport to the hotel and Bharat Mandapam is also under strict surveillance. This entire route has been placed on high alert to ensure that all security standards are met during the movement of the leaders. Delhi Police and other security agencies are continuously coordinating to avoid any untoward situation.

Given the importance of the BRICS summit, security agencies in Delhi have increased their vigilance. The objective of these tight security arrangements is to prevent any external threats during the summit and ensure the safety of all foreign guests. Delhi Police has also prepared special plans for traffic management and security so that normal life in the city is not affected during the summit.

These security arrangements are not only for the protection of the leaders but also reflect the sensitivity of India's hosting. Security agencies have clarified that the security protocol will be strictly followed during the summit, and no negligence regarding security will be tolerated.
