Major Action by Punjab Police: Wanted Gangster Amritpal Singh Extradited from Moldova to India

Punjab Police has successfully brought Amritpal Singh, a member of the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang, from Moldova to India. The accused is wanted in connection with seven murder cases and several other serious crimes. He had been evading the law for a long time by hiding abroad using forged documents. Legal proceedings against him are now underway in India.

In a significant operation, the Punjab Police has successfully extradited notorious criminal Amritpal Singh from Moldova to India. Known as Amrit Dalam, he is identified as an active member of the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang. According to police reports, this arrest marks a major achievement for security agencies.

Amritpal Singh is wanted for his alleged involvement in seven murder cases and numerous other serious criminal offenses. He had been evading the law for an extended period, hiding in various countries to continue his illicit activities. Following a lookout circular and extensive legal efforts, he was eventually detained in Moldova.

Investigations revealed that the accused had utilized a forged passport to escape abroad. Punjab Police teams had been working diligently for a long time to secure his extradition. Eventually, through international cooperation, the path was cleared to bring him back to India.

Multiple cases are pending against Amritpal in various police stations across Punjab. The police will now interrogate him to gather information about his network and other associates. This action highlights the firm stance of the Punjab Police against organized crime.

Following the arrest, the police department termed the operation a major success. Officials stated that he will soon be produced in court to initiate further legal proceedings. The police are also working to identify other individuals involved in this network.
