Legendary player ready to become Pakistan cricket team coach, but fears board's decisions

Former legendary player Mushtaq Ahmed has shared his opinion regarding the coaching position of the Pakistan cricket team. According to an NDTV India report, Mushtaq Ahmed has said that he is ready to become the coach of the team, but he is afraid of the board's current methods.

Mushtaq Ahmed has taken 2256 wickets in his career, which reflects his experience. Despite this, he is apprehensive about the board's style of working. His main fear is that the way the board removes players like Sarfaraz Ahmed during tours is challenging for any coach.

According to the report, the Pakistan Cricket Board has faced a lot of criticism in recent times. The lack of coordination between the team's performance and the board's decisions has forced many legends to think.

Mushtaq Ahmed believes that a coach needs stability to work. If the board keeps changing decisions in the middle, it is natural for the team's performance to be affected.

He clarified that he wants to serve Pakistan cricket, but he is hesitant to work in a situation where his decisions are not respected or he is suddenly removed.

This situation highlights the uncertainty prevailing in Pakistan cricket. This statement from an experienced player like Mushtaq is like a warning for the board.

Finally, Mushtaq said that he is definitely interested in becoming a coach, but the board will have to improve its functioning so that coaches can get a safe environment to work.
