Former Pakistan cricket team captain Misbah-ul-Haq has recently raised serious questions regarding the functioning of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He has accused the board of discriminating against coaches. Misbah believes that the PCB does not treat foreign coaches and local coaches equally, which demoralizes local talent.

According to an NDTV India report, Misbah stated that the facilities and respect afforded to foreign coaches are not extended to local coaches. He has clearly highlighted this disparity. The former captain asserts that this discrimination is not only unfair but could also prove detrimental to the future of Pakistan cricket.

Exposing the PCB, Misbah-ul-Haq claimed that the board's policies clearly prioritize foreign coaches. He emphasized that local coaches have also proven themselves through hard work, yet they do not receive the status they deserve.

This is not the first time such allegations have been made in Pakistan cricket. However, the fact that an experienced player like Misbah has raised this issue is considered quite significant. Following his statement, discussions have intensified in cricket circles regarding whether the PCB will actually change its policies.

While expressing his views, Misbah stated that merit should be paramount in cricket, not the nationality of the coach. He has demanded that the board ensure equal treatment for all coaches so that the team's performance can improve.

Currently, there has been no official response from the PCB regarding this matter. However, Misbah's allegations have cast a major shadow over the board's working style. Cricket enthusiasts are now eager to see whether the board will provide any clarification.
