Junior assistant demoted to Class IV employee in Bareilly after failing typing test three times

A junior assistant in Bareilly has been demoted after failing the typing test three times. The District Magistrate has ordered his transfer to a Class IV position. Additionally, the services of another clerk, accused of depositing revenue collection funds into his personal bank account, have been terminated.

Major administrative action has been taken in Bareilly district. According to the Amar Ujala bureau report, the District Magistrate has taken strict steps against an employee posted as a junior assistant. This employee could not succeed in the mandatory typing test despite three attempts.

In view of the repeated failure in the typing examination, the District Magistrate decided to demote him. He will no longer hold the position of junior assistant and will have to work as a Class IV employee. This order has been issued with the aim of maintaining administrative discipline.

Along with this, the administration has also taken a tough stance in another case. The services of a clerk accused of depositing revenue collection funds into his personal bank account instead of the government account have been terminated. He faced serious allegations of financial irregularities.

While issuing orders in both these cases, the District Magistrate clarified that negligence and corruption in government work will not be tolerated under any circumstances. These actions have caused a stir in the department.

Administrative sources say that typing proficiency is a mandatory qualification for a junior assistant. If an employee fails to achieve this even after being given repeated opportunities, they do not have the right to remain in that position.

At the same time, the action taken in the revenue collection case has been described as necessary to maintain financial integrity. Misappropriating government funds is a serious offense, for which the concerned employee has lost his job.

These decisions by the District Magistrate are being considered an important step towards improving government functioning and ensuring accountability. Strict vigil will be kept on such irregularities in the future as well.
