Avoid Adulterated Market Flour, Easily Prepare Pure Rice Flour at Home

Instead of buying expensive and potentially adulterated rice flour from the market, you can easily prepare pure flour at home. No special machinery is required for this process. Homemade rice flour is a safer and better alternative for making dishes like puris, parathas, and rotis. Here is a simple method to prepare it.

Nowadays, there is often concern regarding the purity of rice flour available in the market. Adulteration is a common issue, which can be harmful to health. Preparing pure rice flour at home is a much better and safer alternative.

Making rice flour at home is quite simple and does not require any expensive machinery. You can prepare fine-quality flour just like the market version using common kitchen appliances.

First, select good quality rice. Wash it thoroughly with clean water to remove any dirt or impurities. It is advisable to soak the rice in water for a while before processing.

After soaking, drain the excess water completely. Spread the rice on a cotton cloth to dry. Ensure that the rice is not completely bone-dry but retains a slight amount of moisture.

Once the rice is slightly dry, grind it in a mixer jar until it becomes a fine powder. While grinding, ensure you run the mixer in short pulses rather than continuously to prevent the flour from heating up.

Sift the ground flour through a fine sieve to remove any coarse particles. If any large pieces remain, grind them again. This process will yield fine and pure rice flour.

You can use this homemade flour to prepare dishes like puris, parathas, or rotis. It is not only safer for health but also fresher and tastier compared to store-bought alternatives.

By following this method, you can save money while ensuring that your family receives pure and nutritious food.
