Fake IPS officer exposed in Aurangabad, Bihar; misled police to conduct raids

A gang has been busted in Aurangabad, Bihar, after a man posed as a trainee IPS officer to deceive the local police. According to NDTV India, the main accused, Vikas Kumar, is currently absconding, while his driver and an accomplice have been arrested. The fake officer had even managed to have real police personnel accompany him in his vehicle during raids. Police are conducting an intensive search for the mastermind.

A shocking incident has emerged from Aurangabad, Bihar, where an individual successfully misled the local police for an extended period by posing as a trainee IPS officer. According to reports from NDTV India, the man not only interacted with the police but also directed them to conduct raids under his supervision.

The accused employed a well-planned strategy to conceal his true identity. He managed to get police personnel to sit in his vehicle and took them to various locations for raids. During this time, no one suspected that he was an imposter.

When the truth was eventually revealed, it caused significant alarm within the police department. It was discovered that this was part of a gang that used false identities to intimidate and deceive people.

Taking swift action, the police arrested the driver of the fake IPS officer along with another accomplice. However, the mastermind behind the operation, Vikas Kumar, remains at large.

Police teams are conducting continuous raids to locate the main accused. Officials stated that the accused misused police uniforms and other official symbols, which constitutes a serious criminal offense.
