West Indies captain Shai Hope expresses disappointment with bowlers after defeat against India in second ODI

The second ODI between India and West Indies proved to be quite challenging. West Indies suffered a major 8-wicket defeat at the hands of India. After the match, West Indies captain Shai Hope spoke openly about his team's performance and primarily blamed his bowlers for the loss.

According to an NDTV India report, Shai Hope stated that the team should praise the Indian players as they played very well. However, he appeared quite dejected regarding his own team's bowling performance.

During the match, the West Indies bowlers completely failed to stop the Indian batsmen. The captain admitted that there was a lack of consistency in the team's bowling, which led to this defeat.

This loss was quite disappointing for West Indies, as the team had entered the field with hopes of victory. The captain mentioned that the role of bowlers is crucial in such high-scoring matches, but they could not execute their plans effectively.

Now, the entire focus of the West Indies team is on the upcoming encounter. The final and decisive match of the series between the two teams is scheduled to be played on October 3 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium.

Captain Shai Hope hopes that his team will rectify their mistakes in the final match and perform better. This last match of the series will prove to be very important for both teams.

With this victory, the Indian team has maintained its dominance in the series. Meanwhile, for West Indies, this match will be the final opportunity to save their reputation and end the series on a positive note.
