Amit Shah's Bhopal Visit: Launch of Dairy Projects and Gopalak Sammelan
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will address the Gopalak Sammelan in Bhopal. He will inaugurate and lay the foundation for various dairy development projects in Ujjain, Bhopal, and Shivpuri. The event will feature the distribution of dividends to milk union members and the honoring of women cattle rearers.
VIMARSHNAARAD TVUnion Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will attend the Gopalak Sammelan at Bhopal's Dussehra Maidan on October 3, 2026. In the presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, he will inaugurate a state-level exhibition on the Nyaya Sanhita. He will also review exhibits showcasing the achievements of the Madhya Pradesh Police in implementing the new judicial code.
To modernize the cooperative sector, a Memorandum of Understanding will be exchanged between KRIBHCO and the Madhya Pradesh State Biodiversity Board during the event. This initiative aims to develop urban forests under the 'Morvan Project'.
Strengthening infrastructure, the minister will lay the foundation stone for a major milk processing plant in Ujjain, involving an investment of 255 crore rupees. Additionally, a dairy product plant with a daily capacity of 40,000 liters and a state-of-the-art central laboratory costing 12.42 crore rupees will be inaugurated in Bhopal. Strengthening work for a mini dairy plant in Shivpuri will also be launched.
Under economic empowerment initiatives, bonuses will be distributed to members of the Bhopal and Indore milk unions via a single click. A total dividend of 15.10 crore rupees will be disbursed to members of dairy cooperative societies. Financial assistance will also be provided to cow shelters.
Recognizing the contribution of women cattle rearers, 'Gopalak Didis' will be specially honored at the event. Approval letters under the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana will also be distributed. This event serves as a significant step in advancing the Prime Minister's vision of 'Sahkar Se Samriddhi'.
