Muzaffarnagar: Mother-in-law gets daughter-in-law remarried a month after son's death; brother-in-law performs Kanyadaan

A heartwarming example of humanity has emerged in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. In Khatauli town, a mother-in-law arranged for her daughter-in-law's remarriage just one month after her son's passing. Sunita, the mother-in-law, treated her daughter-in-law Meenakshi as her own daughter and facilitated her wedding to a man from Rajasthan. The brother-in-law performed the Kanyadaan ceremony, fulfilling his duty as a brother.

A touching and inspiring story has emerged from Khatauli town in Muzaffarnagar. Rohit, a resident of Dayalpuram, passed away on August 15. Following this tragic event, the family was devastated, but Rohit's mother, Sunita, did not lose heart. She decided to secure the future of her daughter-in-law, Meenakshi.

Just a month after Rohit's death, Sunita began efforts for Meenakshi's remarriage. She finalized a match for Meenakshi with a young man from Rajasthan. Sunita not only supported this marriage but also took the initiative to make all the necessary arrangements herself.

During the wedding, Sunita treated Meenakshi not as a daughter-in-law, but as her own daughter. She performed the rituals of her daughter-in-law's departure like a mother. Other members of the family also provided their full support during this time.

The brother-in-law also played a significant role in the wedding rituals. Treating his sister-in-law as his own sister, he performed the Kanyadaan ceremony. This scene was emotional for everyone present. Setting a new example in society, this family has left behind narrow-minded thinking.

Meenakshi also has two daughters. Even after the marriage, these two daughters will continue to live with their grandmother, Sunita. Sunita has decided to take responsibility for these children herself so that Meenakshi can start her new life without any worries.

Local residents have highly praised Sunita's initiative. They say that such progressive thinking is rarely seen in today's times. Such love and support from a mother-in-law towards her daughter-in-law sends a powerful message to society.

This incident is not just a story of one family, but also a symbol of the changing perspective towards widow remarriage in society. Sunita has proven that the bond of relationships is tied with love and understanding.

After the wedding, Meenakshi also expressed her gratitude towards her mother-in-law. She said that she has found the support of a mother in her mother-in-law. This entire event has become a topic of discussion in Khatauli town, and people are commending the generosity of this family.
