The atmosphere in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, has heated up once again over the 'slap incident'. A large number of people gathered at the grand panchayat of the Bahujan Samaj organized in the Commissionerate Park. During this, speakers registered a strong protest against the action taken against the then SSP, IPS Avinash Pandey, and other concerned officials.

According to a report by Amar Ujala, those participating in the grand panchayat expressed dissatisfaction with the administration's decisions. Addressing from the stage, Ravi Gautam stated that this fight is not limited to just one incident but is a demand for justice. He warned that the protest would continue until their demands are met and proper justice is served.

This sequence of events has created a stir in local politics. People present at the grand panchayat raised questions about the functioning of the officials and demanded an impartial investigation. The outrage of the crowd is an indication that the matter is not going to calm down anytime soon.
