The monsoon appears to be active once again in Uttar Pradesh. According to a report by the Amar Ujala network, the weather conditions in the Purvanchal and Terai regions of the state are expected to remain rough for the next three days. There is a strong possibility of heavy rainfall in these areas.

The weather department has issued a yellow alert for a total of 23 districts in the state. People living in these districts have been advised to remain alert as there is a possibility of intense rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.

Many districts in Purvanchal have been experiencing humid heat for some time, and people are now expected to get relief from it. However, heavy rain could also lead to waterlogging issues in low-lying areas.

The intensity of rainfall is also expected to be high in the districts of the Terai region. The local administration has begun streamlining its preparations for potential disaster management to handle any emergency situations.

Weather experts state that due to a change in wind patterns, cloud formation is increasing in these areas. There is a strong possibility that intermittent rain will continue for the next 72 hours.

This rain is also considered important for farmers, although excessive water can be harmful to crops. The agriculture department has suggested that farmers ensure proper drainage arrangements in their fields.

Citizens have been appealed to avoid going out unnecessarily during bad weather and to refrain from taking shelter under electricity poles or old trees.

The administration has activated control rooms to monitor the situation. For any information or assistance, residents can contact the local disaster management department.
