President Droupadi Murmu inaugurates spiritual event and retreat centre in Vadodara
President Droupadi Murmu launched the 'Spiritual Awakening for Global Renewal' programme by Brahma Kumaris in Vadodara, Gujarat. She also inaugurated the 'Global Spiritual Palace' retreat centre and virtually launched a youth-focused initiative in Nadiad. The President emphasized that personal transformation and the development of human values are essential for fostering positive change within society.

President of India Droupadi Murmu officially inaugurated the 'Spiritual Awakening for Global Renewal' programme organised by Brahma Kumaris in Vadodara, Gujarat, on September 23, 2026. During this significant visit, she also dedicated the 'Global Spiritual Palace' retreat centre to the public.
During the event, the President virtually launched the 'Youth for Developed India: Awakening Inner Strength for Nation Building' programme held in Nadiad. She noted that this initiative, hosted in the birthplace of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, serves as a vital effort to inspire the younger generation towards contributing to the nation's progress.
Addressing the gathering, the President highlighted the necessity of human development alongside economic growth. She advocated for an education system that cultivates not only intellectual capacity but also wisdom. She identified sensitivity towards nature and the power of self-control as crucial requirements for the modern era.
Commending the efforts of the Brahma Kumaris, the President remarked that the organisation is spreading a positive message globally through meditation and spiritual knowledge.
