All India Institute of Ayurveda Celebrates 11th Ayurveda Day with Awareness Rally and Book Launches
The All India Institute of Ayurveda in New Delhi marked the 11th Ayurveda Day with a public awareness rally and a seminar. The event focused on promoting traditional medicine and holistic health. During the celebrations, the institute launched two new books and conducted various outreach activities, including workshops and health camps, to strengthen the global reach of Ayurvedic practices.

The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) in New Delhi celebrated the 11th Ayurveda Day-2026 with a series of academic and public engagement activities. A key highlight was the awareness rally held in the morning, aimed at promoting Ayurvedic principles for a healthy lifestyle and holistic well-being. The rally saw enthusiastic participation from the institute's director, Prof. (Vaidya) P.K. Prajapati, along with deans, faculty members, and research scholars.
In the afternoon, a seminar titled 'One Health, One Future: Integrating Science Through Evidence, Innovations and Holistic Care' was organized. Prof. (Dr.) Ravichandran V., Vice-Chancellor of the Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University, attended as the chief guest and praised the institute's efforts in promoting Ayurveda globally. Dr. Vinay Chaudhary, a medical officer from the Ministry of Ayush, delivered a lecture on autoimmune disorders.
Director Prof. Prajapati emphasized the significance of the Prime Minister's 'One Earth, One Health' vision. He noted that Ayurveda has evolved beyond traditional heritage to become a vital component of global health discourse. The institute also launched a special talk show called 'Ayurvarta' and conducted a six-day workshop on dermatology and cosmetology.
During the event, two books, 'Tarangini Sara Sangraha' and 'Integrative Healthcare for Better Outcomes', were officially released. Additionally, the institute organized an eye-screening camp for school students and various patient-centric activities. Through these initiatives, including webinars and expert lectures, the institute highlighted diverse aspects of healthcare and the growing relevance of Ayurvedic science.
