The Department of Fertilizers under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has announced 'Hindi Pakhwada-2026'. This event will run from September 1 to September 15, 2026. Its main objective is to promote the use of the official language Hindi in government work and generate enthusiasm among officers and employees.

Like previous years, this event will be conducted under the guidance of Joint Secretary Anurag Rohatgi. During the fortnight, various types of competitions will be organized by the department, including essay writing, Hindi typing, noting and drafting, poetry recitation, extempore speech, general Hindi knowledge, and an official language quiz.

Winners participating in the competitions will be given first, second, and third prizes, along with incentive awards and certificates. The department has urged all its employees to actively participate in these competitions.

Around the conclusion of this fortnight, the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, will organize 'Hindi Diwas' and the 'Sixth All India Official Language Conference' on September 14-15, 2026, at the CIDCO Exhibition Center in Navi Mumbai. The event will be presided over by the Hon'ble Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation.

The Department of Fertilizers believes that such events will make the use of the official language more effective in government work. This initiative will not only help in the promotion of the language but will also inspire employees to prioritize Hindi in their work style.

The department has called upon all officers to contribute to the spread of the official language. This event is an important step towards giving a new dimension to Hindi at the government level.
